Celebrating Diversity: FAB UK Mag Launches Special Edition for Cultural Style Week 2024 at DSQube Gallery


In the heart of the city of London at the DSQube Gallery in Devonshire Square, a vibrant networking event took place on Sunday 11 August 2024 to celebrate the launch of FAB UK magazine's special edition for Cultural Style Week 2024 featuring Kalikas Armour by Jatin Patel.


FAB UK, renowned for its coverage of stylish red-carpet events and stunning catwalk moments, continues to captivate readers with iconic fashion imagery and the compelling stories behind them. As a leading fashion and lifestyle publication, FAB UK delves into a wide array of entertainment news, with a strong emphasis on fashion.



The August issue of the magazine was dedicated to the diverse and dynamic activities of Cultural Style Week 2024, featuring exclusive interviews with performers, brand ambassadors, and a special cover story on Jatin Patel of Kalikas Armour, a luxury slow sustainable fashion brand, specialising in direct-to-client, made-to measure garments, select ready to wear collections utilising creativity, culture and artistic expression. 

The pages of this special edition also showcase highlights from the Cultural Style Week 2024 events, including participation in Eid in Trafalgar Square, The Cultural Style Week London Expo, Couture Melange, and various events in Sheffield, Cape Town, and beyond. Additionally, readers were treated to a nostalgic throwback section revisiting the memorable moments of Cultural Style Week 2023.

Set against the backdrop of Devonshire Square, one of London's most dynamic and character-filled quarters, the event was hosted by UA in the UK and Volkova PR as part of the vibrant ‘Independent’ exhibition, which celebrated the work of Ukrainian artists and fashion designers.

Attendees were welcomed with a red-carpet and drinks reception, followed by opening remarks from Candy-Ellie Graham, founder of Cultural Style Week, and Aleksandra Volkova, founder of Volkova PR. The event also provided an opportunity to explore the 'Independent' exhibition and support Ukrainian talent.

Electro-pop band ‘East One West’ provided the evening's entertainment with their electrifying live music.

Reflecting on the special edition, Cem Kaplan of FAB UK remarked, “It was an honour to cover Cultural Style Week 2024, organised by the visionary Candy-Ellie Graham. This event was a spectacular display of global fashion, uniting designers and artists in a celebration of cultural diversity. From the vibrant ‘Couture Melange’ fashion show in London to the immersive showcases of Uzbek, Uyghur, and Azerbaijani cultures during Eid, this movement exemplifies the unifying power of style.”
